About The Artist: No fear to Fail, but Master of None
I have lived in the Birmingham area all my life. In 2013, I decided to fulfill a life-long dream to learn how to paint. I have been very fortunate to have trained under Karen Libecap Amidon, Dori DeCamillis, Beth Bradley and in glass with Debbie Ballog and Pottery at Earthborne and with Daphne Kelly. Later on, I expanded my Mediums from Oil, Acrylic and Water Color to Gouache, Kiln Formed Glass, Resin, Alcohol Inks, Candle Making, Pottery and Mosaics. I am a member of the Birmingham Art Association, the Mountain Brook Art Association, Hoover Arts Alliance, Shelby Council Arts Council and the Central Alabama Artist Guild. Some of the venues I have participated in are Ruffner Mountain, Art Crawl and Art Walk, Rojo, Pelham Palooza, Kessler Lobby, Sacred Heart Gallery, Vestavia Walk of Art where I won First Prize, and Hoover City Hall Gallery. My paintings of Cannonballs 1861 is a permanent part of the Alabama Bicentennial Showcase.
